The Idle Man

While I was studying abroad in London, England, I was able to intern with a menswear's e commerce business, The Idle Man. It was a very immersive experience into the London work life with traveling on the tube during rush hour and interacting with diverse co-workers. As an intern, I was responsible in assisting the editorial and marketing teams when needed.

I was able to develop new wordpress skills and enhance my writing skills. I wrote for their style advice and street style columns, and created social media posts for their week long Black Friday sales. Furthermore, I helped with a photo shoot featuring Darren Kennedy, an Irish TV producer and style entrepreneur. I even got to witness the opening of The Idle Guide Store during my internship, which is a place for customers to browse in-store or set up an appointment with a stylist. I enjoyed my time with The Idle Man, because it was amazing to see first-hand how the business was growing.
